Scaevola

Scaevola aemula

A perennial in zone 8 b and warmer; in cooler climates it is a popular summer annual for the hanging baskets, the front of borders and groundcover. It grows vigorously and can reach up to 2 x 5 feet ( to 2 x 6.6 feet where a perennial ). The leaves are luxuriant green and up to 2 inches in length and the flowers are purple-blue, up to 1.5 inches in size from late spring through summer ( most of the year in mild climates ).
Full sun and well drained soil is essential for good growth. Propagation is from cuttings.
